Our client, a leading commercial general contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee large-scale construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout. This individual will be responsible for managing project operations, schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably.
Responsibilities
Our client, a leading commercial general contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee large-scale construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout. This individual will be responsible for managing project operations, schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of commercial construction projects
- Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Lead subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and procurement activities
- Manage project documentation, reporting, and change orders
- Conduct project meetings and provide regular project updates
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards
- Mentor and support project team members as needed
- 10+ years of commercial construction project management experience
- Strong knowledge of construction operations, scheduling, and budgeting
- Experience managing large and complex commercial projects
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency with construction management and scheduling software
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Competitive compensation package -- base 150-180K, plus bonus
